When do you need an extra end rail?
Each 8-foot Patriot Docks frame section includes two end rails—one on each end. When connecting multiple sections, the end rail from the next section is shared. However, an additional 4 FT end rail is required to cap off the final section at the lake end of your dock.
General End Rail Guidelines:
- Straight Dock Layouts: Require one extra end rail to finish the end
- Patio or Platform Layouts: Require two or more extra end rails depending on design
- Custom Layouts with Quick Connects or Hinges: May require additional end rails for each break or transition in the layout
