The 20” Solar Buoy acts as a standard marker buoy during the day but will illuminate at night via rechargeable solar light nestled at the buoy’s top. The watertight solar light engine’s generator will recharge in just four hours of direct sun, providing power to 5 super bright LEDs at night. The result is a beautiful glowing buoy visible from up to 1/2 nautical mile at night and can stay illuminated for up to 20 hours. The light engine’s LEDs will last for 100,000 hours or 20 years, and rechargeable batteries will last for up to 2 years before needing to be replaced.

The watertight solar light engine’s generator will recharge four 1.2V rechargeable batteries during the daylight hours, providing power to 5 super bright LED’s (Light Emitting Diodes) at night. The result is a beautiful glowing buoy visible from up to ½ nautical mile at night and can stay illuminated for up to 20 hours.

The “Bell Shape” design helps keep the buoy vertical in water even in wavy conditions.
All Aqua Lanterns come with a solar engine top panel and rechargeable batteries. Also included is a spanner wrench to help secure the light engine into the top of the buoy.
A “D” ring pad on the buoy bottom and screws are made of Marine Grade Stainless Steel to protect against rust and corrosion especially for salt water use.
