"Chain Retainer"

The 475 "Chain Retainer" bolts to the side of the dock to fasten or mount chain that is connected at the other end to a submerged weight that holds the dock in place. The bracket is made of heavy 3/16" thick metal and is 3" wide x 5" long with 4 square mounting holes. There is a "U" shaped piece welded to it that has a slot on the side to slide a chain in. The slot makes for easy chain length adjustment as the water level changes.

Zinc plated finish. To be used on 2" x 6" lumber.

NOTE: Install with 5/16" carriage bolts NOT INCLUDED.

Use either 460 or 462 "Dock Fastener Kits".

NOTE: For extra bracket mounting support the 516 "Rectangular Backing Plate" can be added.
